Australian Youth Orchestra

As part of the Prom Recitals, Korumburra Secondary students were invited to attend a concert put on by the Australian Youth Orchestra in Meeniyan last Friday. This was a valuable experience for all students who attended, enabling them to access high quality performers and view a wide array of instruments in a Regional setting. The orchestra performed vibrant and interesting pieces arranged and written by contemporary Australian composers. We thank Prom Recitals for this unique opportunity and look forward to future events. 

Midyear Music Concert

At the end of this term we will be hosting a Midyear Music Concert to celebrate the work our instrumental students have completed over the Semester. It has been a long and busy Semester with lots of Music events. The concert will take place at 6:00pm on Thursday the 16th of June in the Performing Arts Centre. We invite parents, family and friends of the Korumburra Community to attend, stay tuned for more Music News soon!
