Athletics Carnival Update

Please note, due to the Climate Rally being held on March 15, the new date for the Athletics Carnival is Thursday 2 May. 

Yr 9/10 Division Cricket

Our Year 9 team showed their continued development in winning their 20 over divisional final against Thornbury by 50 runs. Rosie Rodger was our highest run scorer and Amelie Sibillin displayed great control and pace in her bowling. Our girls showed creativity in deciding to retire after they faced 15 balls so everyone got a bat. All girls bowled at least one over.

We had 2 teams out to represent NHS in the Divisional Competition.  Both teams played well but couldn’t match Thornbury who were the overall winners on the day.

Senior Girls Premier League

This year our Senior girls Soccer team have been offered an amazing opportunity by being invited to play in the 2019 Premier League Football Competition (Soccer).  The girls have been training hard with Mr Prowse-Wilkins over the last couple of weeks in preparation for their first match which is to be played on Monday 4th March. During the competition, the girls will have a series of matches which are to be played in the up and coming weeks. The grand final of this competition will be played as a curtain raiser for a Melbourne Victory Match at AAMI Stadium. We wish our girls all the best of luck as they move through the competition.  We will keep you updated via the newsletter and our Instagram posts.
