SSATIS Athletics results

We are so proud of the efforts of all students who participated in the recent SSATIS Athletics Carnival. 

 

In the SSATIS Pennant Challenge St Mary's College won the Girls U14s shield and came second by three points in the Girls U16s. Well done everyone!

Thank you to Amy Prokopiec and Lucy Eade, the 2020 St Mary’s College Athletics Team Co-Captains who did an amazing job supporting and leading the team and also competing with strength and determination.

Year 3-6 Athletics Carnival

Lots of yellow, green, red and blue bursts of energy and excitement at the Year 3-6 Athletics Carnival, with students taking to the track and field events with great enthusiasm. Terrific cheers and chants, team spirit, and participation from all students, well done everyone!

1st Grade Basketball

Such exciting times with St Mary’s College finishing top of the ladder and going through undefeated as the 1st Grade Basketball - Southern SATIS winners! Congratulations to Captain, Pia Rhodes (Year 12), and fellow teammates, Emma Johnson, Shakira Bone, Lilian Ndimanyi (Year 11), Chloe Kitto, Zoe Banks, Claire Ranson, Caitlin Marr (Year 10) and Bellah Parker (Year 9) who beat Calvin Christian College in the final. Good luck to the team who will now take on Marist Regional College in the State Final next Wednesday 23 September. A big thank you to Coach, Robin Rhodes who has looked after the St Mary’s 1st Grade team for four years now! 

Blessing of the boats

The St Mary's College rowing team celebrated at the Blessing and Naming of the Boats on Sunday 13 September. Announcements were also made for the Captain of Boats, Amelia Roberts and Deputy Gabby Woodhouse (Year 11). Congratulations to you both! Term 4 Sport Registrations are now open

Both the Junior and Senior School Term 4 Sport Registrations are now open. There are lots of fun options, including basketball, teeball, touch football, cricket, tennis, AFL and badminton. Sign up for Term 4 Sports here.
