Student achievements

Congratulations to the following students: 

Maddison Lamb, Sophie Robinson, Hannah O’Connell and Kate Oliver (Year 12), the Open Rowers who received the Golden Oars award. These students have represented the St Mary's College rowing team for six years. What an amazing rowing legacy! 

Eliza Mason, Jessica Bremner, Tehya Casti, Cecilia Hutchinson, Felicity Carter, Holly Goward, Cara Fitzgerald, Meg Pinelli and Holly Sice (Year 10) who received their Open Rowing badges. Best of luck for the next season of rowing.

Chloe Broomhall, Mia Anderson, Sienna Nowland, Rianna Scott, Melanie Bremner (Year 7)and Lucy Booth (Year 8) who represented the Southern Tasmania netball team (STNA) U13 in Launceston and came away with a gold medal by one goal in a closely contested match against the Northern Tasmania team (NTNA). Fantastic effort by all on a fantastic game!

Hannah Cowie, Olivia Hunniford-Webb, Amy Wild and Madeleine Reid (Absent in the photo) (Year 7) who were named as the Reading Rockstars and winners of the Reader's Cup. Everyone was very impressed by their great reading skills.

Amelie Cox, Caitlin Marr and Emily Walter  (Year 10) who have won equal first place prizes in Tasmania in the Australian Geography Competition. Well done to you all!
