Maths-Science Club – Term 1 – Review

Term 1 2021 has seen a continued interest in the Maths-Science Club. The Year 11 students have guided the boys through Chemical Reactions, Light and DNA extraction in the Science Club sessions – very exciting experiences for the younger boys. In Maths Club, we’ve made Mobius Strips and looked at other non-orientable manifolds, investigated Permutations and Combinations of objects and taken a quick look at Probability. 

The boys have certainly enjoyed the six weeks of the Term 1 Program and we’re all looking forward to the wonderful activities and information that will be available in Term 2. The Term 2 program will commence in Week 3, on Tuesday 4 May. Details of these sessions will be available next term. 

Congratulations and thanks to our Year 11 facilitators – Zac Apelt, Dougie Cowlishaw, Paddy Gilbert, Spencer Sharman and Jaspar Driml. These boys have done an amazing job this term.
