As you would be aware, we like to ask our families for feedback about processes at MCA and this week I would like to report on two minor improvements that we have incorporated into College life, based on what we have heard from you.

Uniform Shop

Whilst information about the uniform shop is available on the College App (Contacts Tile > Uniform Centre), we now have a tile available on the MCA Parent Portal with the same information, allowing you to access details about the shop (opening hours, price lists, contact details), as well as access to online shopping straight from your PC.

You will also find a list of FAQs on the Uniform page. Our Uniform FAQ sheet contains a number of questions that have been asked about the shop since it began operating last year. We hope the information provided is useful to you.

TERM 1 Week 8 and Week 9

Monday and Tuesday – 7:30am to 12:00pm

Wednesday – 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Thursday and Friday – 7:30am to 12:00pm

One very handy feature is the ability to save your payment details through the online shop. (Go to your name in the top right-hand corner then use the down arrow to go to My Account and the Payment Method on the My Account page.) Once you have done this, your son is able to go to the uniform shop and purchase clothing without needing a physical parent credit card or cash. He will need his school photo ID with him though to be able to use this method.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Based on your responses to our most recent survey, we will be providing both online and face-to-face opportunities for interviews in Term 2. As per the College calendar, interviews will be taking place on Monday 19 April and Wednesday 28 April. Both days will hold opportunities for interviews from Year 5-12 (this is a slight change to what is written on 28 April), but we are yet to make a final decision about which day will be face-to-face and which will be online. 

We will be in contact in the very near future regarding dates and modes of delivery.
