Gala Day

The Sports Gala Day, which has been occurring over the last fortnight, has had our senior students hyped!  We are so proud of our students and their amazing sportsmanship displayed during moments of victory and defeat.

Student Reflection

Estella

Last Friday we had Winter sports. In netball, we tied one game and lost the other but we still had a lot of fun.

Ashton

Last Friday, I went to Freeway Reserve to play soccer with my school friends. We won 3 out of 4 games, showed good sportsmanship and had a lot of fun.

Jadah

Last Friday we had our Winter sports Gala Day. My sport I chose was AFL and we unfortunately lost our games.  Even though we lost, we showed great sportsmanship and still kept up the positive energy.  I enjoyed playing and can't wait to play again :)

Dylan

Last Friday on June 2nd all soccer teams went to Highway Reserve to verse other schools. Team B lost both games, but we still had fun. We showed sportsmanship to other schools and we still showed it even if they didn’t.

Lula & Sofia

Last Friday, all the soccer players went to Freeway Reserve to go and play soccer! It was a great experience, although it was very muddy. Unfortunately, Team C didn't win any games. Team C versed St. Justin's and lost.  We also versed Mulgrave Primary. After Team C's games finished, we cheered on the other SJV teams whilst they were playing.  A great day! 

Steven

Last Friday, the soccer A Team almost won all of their games.  We won 3 games and lost 1 against Mulgrave Primary, but we still kept our heads up.

Emily, Lucia & Noa

Last Friday, we had our Winter school sports and played AFL. It was a great day to play. Unfortunately, we got smashed but we had a lot of fun. We were so close to scoring a goal but they marked it on the goal line.  We had A LOT of fun :D

Justin

At Gala Day, Team A won 3 out of 4 matches. We won against St. Justin's, St. Leonard's and Good Shepherd Primary but lost to Mulgrave. We had a great time and everyone had fun. Everyone showed excellent sportsmanship and even though we lost, we still had fun.
