Welcome to St Joseph's Quirindi

This year we have warmly welcomed Lyncin Wright (K), Lottie Woods (K), Indi Watts (K), Kendall O'Rance (Y2), Harold Connal (Y3), Ayla O'Rance (Y5) and their families into our very special St Joey's Community. We truly hope you enjoy being part of our amazing school.

Safety Request

Last week we noticed a couple of parents driving in an unsafe manner in the school zone at the front of the school.  Please make sure you park correctly to let your children out of the vehicle.

Please be extra vigilant when making a U turn to park on the opposite side of the road.  We noticed a driver nose into the curb and then reverse back onto the road before parking correctly.  You never know when children might run onto the road, especially younger siblings at pick up time. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in helping us keep everyone in our school community safe.

The Coolamon Challenge

Congratulations to Nate R and Alex D who were drawn out as our winners for last week's Coolamon Challenge. The correct answers were:

Infants: What am I? I have a red and green jacket. I grow on trees. My body is round. What am I?  An apple

Primary: Can you think of a word that ends in 'mt'?  Dreamt

This week's challenge: This week's challenge is keeping in theme with our Twosday celebrations. Different staff members have secretly shared a fact about them that has to do with the number 2 (for example, which staff member has 2 daughters? Which staff member has lived in 2 towns? Which staff member has two goats?). Students will have to become detectives during the week to see if they can match the correct staff member with their secret fact to complete the challenge. Goodluck!
