ANZAC Day

Chevalier College students gathered around the Southern Highlands region to commemorate ANZAC Day. Thank you to everyone who participated, we are very proud of our students and the respect they showed on this important occasion.

Special thanks to our performing arts students for their various performances on this day, and also to our students who delivered the youth address both at Bowral and Moss Vale.

We are forever grateful to the brave men and women who have served our country.

Lest We Forget.

Mother's Day High Tea

We had a beautiful morning at our Mother's Day High Tea celebrating mums and other important women in our students' lives.

Thank you to our students for the beautiful liturgy, hospitality, and entertainment.

Thank you to the mums who volunteered on our Mother's Day Committee.

We also thank the local businesses who donated lucky door prizes: Endota Spa, The Bookshop Bowral, Capital Chemist Bowral and The Source Bulk Foods Bowral, and the beautiful and delicious High Tea was provided by Rochelle Adonis Catering.

Parent Forum #2 - Best Use of Time

At our second Parent Forum, our Principal Greg led us to explore more deeply and specifically how we can best use time to enable flexibility and choice for your children as they engage in their learning.

Consideration was given to how we can create time for them to investigate areas of interest and passion, so that the learning experience at Chevalier is even better in the coming years.

It was a great opportunity to listen, but also to discuss and ask questions.

Late next week we will share a booking link for our third forum to be held on Wednesday 21st June. With reference to the last consultation stage with students, staff and parents/caregivers, Greg will present a working model proposed for the 2024 timetable. If you would like to have the opportunity to offer feedback on the model, please join us at the forum. A final decision regarding best use of time for 2024 will be made and communicated early in Term 3.
