A big congratulations to the Committee for their wonderful organisation of the Cavendish Redgum Festival held on Saturday 23rd April.  It was a very busy day for the town and there were people everywhere.  With football and netball on as well, our school parents and families were kept very busy helping out at the festival and the football.  The weather was absolutely perfect which helped with the attendance numbers.

A huge thank you goes out to each and every person who helped organise, cook food, donated their time and packed up the Family and Friends Cafe.  The quiche and salad was a real hit and the gumnut packs for the kids were popular as well.  The cafe looked amazing and all the yummy cakes and slices drew people in.

There is one person in particular that deserves a special mention and that person is Merryn.  Merryn is on the Committee and has spent months helping organise the event and also setting up the Cafe, organising the activities and cooking among a million other things.  Well done to you Merryn.  The school and kinder have benefited hugely from all the time and effort you have put in to this event.  We hope that you slept well on Saturday and Sunday night!!   Also a big thanks to Erin Cross who supplied the quiche warmers etc. and helped out with the organisation and on the day.

We will let you know what the school made once the food and related costs, etc. have been taken out and the Eftpos money comes in from the RGF Committee.

WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED.  GIVE YOURSELVES A BIG PAT ON THE BACK!
