Welcome back to Term 4

This is the business end of the year for both the Year 10 and 11 students. All students need to focus on applying themselves fully in order to finish the year off with the best possible results and outcomes. This will provide the grounding to position themselves for next year to maximise their achievement and success.

Course Selections 2021

Existing Year 10 and 11 students of the College have completed their course selection form this week. A copy will be emailed home during Week 2 to parents/guardians with a covering letter and a copy of the Curriculum Prospectus.

New students to the College in 2022 will receive their course selection information package in Week 2. During Week 3 a parent information session will be provided via WebEx. The WebEx will be recorded and made available to those that cannot attend virtually at the indicated time. Details of the WebEx will be provided closer to the time.

Following this the completed and signed forms will be required to be returned to the College by Monday 1st November, as indicated on the form and in the letter. If parents/guardians have queries at any stage, please do not hesitate to contact me at the College.

Year 10 Work Experience

A reminder that the students Work Experience forms were due Wednesday 13th October, some forms are still outstanding. These forms need to be returned promptly so the College can continue with its processes for the placement of the students.

In summary and to clarify;

  • Week 9 is a compulsory week of Work Experience.
  • Week 10 is optional.
  • For students who are only undertaking a placement in Week 9, there is no requirement for you to return to school for Week 10.
  • For a student who is undertaking the two weeks of Work Experience, this is to be undertaken with the one Work Experience host.
  • Students are not able to reside at the College for Weeks 9 and 10. The last day for Year 10 students onsite is Friday 3rd December.

Please contact Mrs Amelia Raper at the College if you have any queries in relation to the Work Experience Program.

All the best for Term 4!
