SPRING AT LAST

Spring a welcome boost

From cold days of Winter past

Pale skin caressed by the sun blast

Washing the blues away

Glorious Melody of colour in all its array

As flowers start to bloom

Lifting the garden from their hibernating gloom

A cool breeze gently whispering

Surface of lake diamond shimmering

Tantalizing perfume of nature’s blossom
