Athletics Carnival 2022 

The 2022 Killara High School Athletics Carnival was held on 22 March at the Competition Arena, Sydney Olympic Park. The conditions were perfect, which made it a fantastic day for all those who attended as competitors, in addition to those who attended to cheer on their house. It was great to see many students compete, especially in our field events. And the highlight of the carnival was the Staff versus Year 12 tug ‘o’ war event. 

Special mention and congratulations must go to Dylan A (14 yrs.) who broke the record in the 1500m, Mia H (12 yrs.) who broke the record in the 800m, and Luke R (17 yrs.) who broke the record in the Javelin.

Special thanks must go to all of the staff who assisted in the running of the carnival. Thanks must also go to the prefects for running novelty events. The Zone Athletics Carnival will be held on June 29 (Term 2, Week 10). All the best for the Zone team as they prepare for this event.
