TAKING TIME TO SOAK UP LIFE AND JOY

At Wollert be are dedicated and invested in learning but enjoying life with each other in ways that make us laugh and smile is most important. We've had so much fun this year with each other through play, dance, dress ups and creative adventures. We value this so strongly and want to take every opportunity to share this with our wonderful Wollert Community. This Wednesday is another event that allows us to celebrate and acknowledge important people as we move into the Father's Day weekend.

MEN OF WOLLERT

We believe in our 'village' philosophy at Wollert and in acknowledging this, it is fitting that tis week as we move into the Father's Day weekend, we take time to celebrate.

Our students have great men in their lives that nurture and raise them to be the fine young people we see each day. WEDNESDAY between 7.30am and 9.30am we invite all of the men to our school that play such an important role in our students lives. If you're a dad, step-dad, grandfather, uncle, cousin, relative or friend that one of our young people just could not get through life without we encourage you to come and spend some time with us if you're able. Come for 30 minutes or longer. We will have a BBQ breakfast available for you to enjoy and our students will be keen to show you their learning environments. Thank you for all you do day to day.

OPEN AFTERNOON - Be CURIOUS

WEDNESDAY 7th SEPTEMBER is our second Open Day for this term. Between 12.00pm and 2.00pm we invite anyone who would like to come and see our Learning Communities in action to do so. These open opportunities allow our current families but also our 2023 families to come and share in the brilliance and curiosity we experience every day at Wollert.

We do not change how we work on these days. Our students will continue to work in their learning spaces as they would when there are no visitors. Sharing our learning in and authentic way is important to us. In fact, 2023 will see us moving to open days throughout each term rather than tours, allowing more community members to attend and staff to continue to focus deeply on creating the learning spaces we desire.

We look forward to seeing visitors on this day.
