PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

College Farewells
Trevor Howard
Long-serving member of staff and Deputy Principal - Trevor Howard has announced his retirement from The Riverina Anglican College.
Mr Howard has served this community with dedication, distinction and passion for over two decades and is one of the most important and influential figures in the history of this college and of Anglican education in the Diocese.
Be it academia, IT, sport, trips away, hosting students on the family farm, wellbeing, or the myriad things he does each and every day for the community, he has done so with the best intentions for the college as his guiding light. We are all better off for his time with us. Always willing to lend a hand, listen, offer advice, be there in times of need, ready with a laugh and a fountain of knowledge on so many topics – Mr Howard is a true man of the people with a giant heart for service and a love for his friends and colleagues. A gentleman.
Mr Howard will spend some very well-earned time with his parents and family and focus on his new venture with cattle and farming – Trevor and his family have recently acquired an additional 1500-acre property near Tarcutta.
It is rare in this day and age for someone to dedicate such a significant time in one place and Mr Howard leaves an enviable legacy – a legacy that is generational. It is an emotional time for Mr Howard and his family and an emotional time for our community – but also a time of celebration – celebration of a wonderful career at The Riverina Anglican College that will be remembered and cherished by all who have known Mr Howard.
Thank you, Trevor!
Jane Lister
Jane Lister will be leaving us at the end of the year to begin a new
adventure in Brisbane. Jane’s husband Steve has been appointed as Campus Staff Team Leader of the Evangelical Students Group at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Jane’s contributions to all facets of college life - HSIE, Christian Studies, CAS, cocurricular, etc. - have been wonderful and have enriched us all greatly. Jane has brought collegiality, dedication, passion, honesty and a deep faith to all she does and her contributions to the launch of the IB program as the inaugural Head of CAS, have been brilliant. Jane has a heart for service, is unfailingly honesty and has a desire to do whatever she can to improve the lives of her students and her peers.
Thank you, Jane!
