Mr Bruce McPhee
The implementation of the MCA School Buses trial in Term 1 2021 has largely been a success and we hope that families have seen this as a beneficial service.
Bus route MCA 1 has been consistently arriving at the school on time and bus route MCA 2, while it had a number of initial arrival delays, maintained consistent arrival times through to the end of Term 1 with the exception of a single scheduling error in the Brisbane Bus Lines system, which has been now resolved.
Listed below are four stop inclusions which will commence from Wednesday 26 May based on Term 1 trial data and “Request a Stop” responses. Unfortunately, we are not able to meet the requests of all families at this time. It is anticipated that these minor rerouting amendments will have minimal or no disruption to the journey times and we hope these changes will further improve the journey to and from school for students.
New Stops:
Parents and guardians can track MCA buses by using the “Transport Me” app. Please click on the following link for details https://transportme.com.au/passenger-app/.
The College will release a survey later in Term 2 in order to seek feedback regarding the bus service, current routes, and potential improvements. Please complete this survey so that we can continue to monitor and assess the service and routes.
For further information on the MCA bus routes, please contact the College on Phone 07 3858 4555 or email schoolbus@marash.qld.edu.au.
