Surf Camp

On Wednesday 14th February forty-five Year 5/6 students travelled to Ocean Grove for the annual Surf Camp. All students had a brilliant three days learning new skills and socialising with their friends. Our students were praised by the Surf Instructors for excellent behaviour, listening skills and enthusiasm which was great to see!

Thanks to Mrs Eeckman, Mr Blamires, Miss Hunt, Mr O’Brian and parents: Glenn, Liz, Cassy, David and Jamie for all of your help throughout the camp.

2018 District Swimming Carnival

On Wednesday 7th March, students from Years 4-6 who qualified at our swim trials, represented Kingswood at the Mordialloc District Swimming Carnival. Students participated in a range of races against ten other schools in the District. Overall we finished a very respectable 5th position.

A special mention goes to Raena who finished 1st in the butterfly and backstroke events and will now go onto represent Kingswood and our District, at the Kingston Division Carnival on Thursday!

Well done to all of our swimmers and thanks to Mrs Dorais for assisting on the day.
