Music/Performing Arts

Further to our Dungeon Concerts, two pop-up  events took place today (Tuesday 4th April), hosted by our Vet Music class. 

This was an opportunity for our year 8 students to witness the planning and execution of a live music gig, as well as to enjoy some fantastic performances.

The first event featured the very talented Jenna Charman, who wowed the audience with her stunning collection of covers ranging from Taylor Swift to Lizzie McAlpine.  The second 

showcased a variety of performances from our other talented artists including Elyssa Rennie, Fiona Griffith, and Addison Hockey. The students were treated to a range of solo, duet, and group performances from these talented musicians.

Both events displayed the ability to plan and organise a live music gig, including coordinating equipment, staging, and talent. The performers demonstrated professionalism and dedication, which is a valuable lesson for the participants and our Year 8 students as they begin to explore their own passions and interests.

We hope to continue to provide our students with these more experiences in the future, as they play a vital role in inspiring and motivating our students to pursue their dreams.
