House Athletics

Thursday 9th March

The Baimbridge House athletics carnival was run on the 9th March in glorious weather. The perfect conditions (no rain) provided the perfect backdrop for a great days competition.

The Fraser house ladies were on their game and managed to put a gap between themselves and the pack, led by Bradman.

A different story though for the boys. Laver trounced the opposition leading Fraser and Bradman behind.

Individual efforts on the day went to Isaac Lehmann and Karoraina Karatau-Keightley with Lehmann breaking 2 records and Karatau-Keightley (16.09) cracking the 2007 17yo Girls 90M Hurdles record by 0.01seconds previously held by Sarah Graham. Lehmann broke Brady McDonald's 2008 record in the 14yo Boys Triple Jump by 17cm to record 9.47m. Lehmann (4.83m) Doubled up with the 14yo Boys Long Jump record by 4cm to take away Luke Sypott's 1995 record of 4.79m.
