Studio Arts and Visual Communication subjects. Handing in end of year SAT, sketchbooks and final artwork

Teaching and learning remotely in the Visual Art subjects has been very challenging in 2020 but the Year 12 Visual and Creative Arts students accomplished completing their sketchbooks and final artworks/ presentations last week and came into the College to hand in their final folios. 

Here are some photos of students handing in their folios. What an achievement! 

The normal environment for these girls is working together in class, seeing each other's creations and discussing the work as they produce it, enabling them to share ideas, help and support each other. Unfortunately, working at home has not given the girls this normal discussion, collaboration, suggestions, ideas, thoughts and positive and genuine criticism and feedback. Being able to do this in class would normally help the individual develop their ideas and the artwork would evolve, so to finish their artwork at home has been a real achievement. Well done girls!! 

Art and Design Live Evening

To celebrate the 2020 Visual and Creative Arts students, we have organised an 'Art and Design Live Evening' with a focus on Year 12 artwork and allowing each individual to present her work. The evening will take place on Thursday 22 October, commencing at 6.00pm.

We invite everyone to join and we hope you all enjoy looking at the incredible work produced by the  2020 Year 12 Visual and Creative Arts students.
