Year 11 Chemistry students performing a variety of precipitation reactions. Precipitation reactions occur when two solutions combine to form an insoluble substance, known as a precipitate.

 

 

The year 9’s recently completed a model of a neuron for the Control and Regulation section for science. They created wonderful pieces :)

 

Year 12 Chemistry students constructing Daniell cells made from half-cells of copper and zinc. By connecting these two half-cells they can generate up to 1V of electricity.
