As we approach week 10 of term 1 it feels as though the college and the students have become settled in the routines of school life for 2023. The past few weeks have seen some exciting events occur and it has been great to see the college come alive.

Our annual Discovery Expo was held on Tuesday the 14th. Our faculties all put on amazing and interactive displays to showcase the wonderful work that occurs daily within the college. It was great to meet the visiting and prospective families within our community. Thank you to all the staff and student volunteers who contributed to the evening, and a special thank you to Mrs Siryani for her coordination and organising of the event.

If you or anyone you know were unable to make our Discovery Expo, please feel free to contact the school to arrange a tour and to discuss any concerns or queries you may have.

From the 15th or March our students in year 7 and 9 have been making their way through the NAPLAN assessments for 2023. It has been a mammoth undertaking, however with thanks to our incredible staff and IT team it has been a resounding success. A special mention to Ms Aakshi, Ms Nemeth, Ms Absoriati, Ms Snowball for their coordination for the sessions, and to Mr Georgiopoulos and Mr Labigang for their IT support. Well done to all year 7 and year 9 students on their efforts and behaviour during this time.

Harmony week was celebrated from Monday the 20th to Friday the 24th or March. The college has been packed full of events each day from sporting activities, gardening, eSports and finally our Cultural Dress Day. It was wonderful to see our students celebrating their culture and looking amazing in their outfits for the day.
