Killara Schools Partnership (KSP) Concert Band Performance

On Monday 21 November Killara High School held its first Killara Schools Partnership combined band concert. Beaumont Road Public School, Lindfield East Public School and Roseville Public School arrived in the afternoon for an intensive workshop with our two Concert Bands before performing for parents and friends in the evening. The concert ended with a combined piece featuring all of the 150 students performing together. It was a fabulous event, and we would like to thank all of the students and parents from each school for making this concert happen. 

Schools Spectacular

'Creating the Magic'. This year's Schools Spectacular theme really came true. This remarkable annual event celebrates youth, education, culture, diversity and young Australian talent and features over 5,000 students from across New South Wales public schools.

Congratulations to Braden L (Featured Artist), Alyssa L (Featured Dancer), Mitchell M (Stage Band), Wesley W (D'Arts), Leo W (Production Team), Sophie B (Spec Fest performer) and 20 Vocal students in the combined secondary choir for their amazing performances and dedication. We can't wait to be involved next year. 

Australian Army Jazz Band

On Wednesday 30 November the Australian Army Jazz Band visited KHS. The morning started with an intensive workshop with Stage Band 1 & 2 and ended with a fantastic performance for our PAE students, Elective Music students and Year 7 students. It was such an inspiring concert, and we would like to thank the Australian Army Jazz Band for visiting our school.

Sydney North Public Schools Vocal Ensembles 2023

Applications are now open for the 2023 Sydney North Public Schools Vocal Ensembles.

There are 4 ensembles across two locations:

• Epping West (Primary Years 4 – 6 Ensemble & Secondary Years 7 – 12 Ensemble) – rehearsing on Monday Afternoons
• Belrose (Primary Years 4 – 6 Ensemble & Secondary Years 7 – 12 Ensemble) – rehearsing on Wednesday Afternoons
