Student Achievements

Hockey

Two students from Killara High were selected to play in an International U16 Hockey Tournament - The Gryphon Cup, held in Perth last week. 24 teams from Australia, Malaysia and Singapore competed. 

Piers W and Beatrix T, both in Year 9, travelled to Perth with Ciriello Hockey Academy girls and boys teams containing athletes from Victoria, NSW, ACT and South Australia. Both teams competed very well, Piers team winning the boys competition and Beatrix being awarded the girls team MVP.

Music

Congratulations to Kourosh N (Year 9) who has been successful in gaining a position in the NSW Public Schools Symphony Orchestra playing Violin. Congratulations also to William S (Year 10) who has been successful in gaining a position in the NSW Public Schools Stage Band playing Trumpet.
