Approaching the exam period : actions and opportunities

 

Welcome back for the final term of 2021.  It’s been another eventful and challenging year to put it mildly, but it has been amazing to see how resilient and adaptable our students have been in stepping up and moving forward.  As we approach the exam period, there are a few final reminders for our Year 12 students and a round up of opportunites looking ahead to next year.

Year 12 ATAR Permision forms - Action Required!

Can all Year 12 scored VCE students please ensure that they have completed and signed their ATAR permission release form and returned this to their Connect tutor as soon as possible.  Thank you. 

 

Accessing your VCE study scores and results

Scored Year 12 VCE students who wish to receive their results online, will need to register at https://resultsandatar.vic.edu.au/results/applicants.htm before results are released on Thursday December 16. 

 

Registrations are already open, and students are encouraged to register soon. 

Note: To register, students need their VCAA student number and will be requested to choose a secure password on registering.

 

Year 12 VTAC applications

Timely applications for tertiary study for 2022 have now closed.  Students should have submitted all supporting documentation.  A reminder that students can change their preferences up until 4pm on Monday December 20th

 

I will be available to assist students with VTAC preferencing and plans for 2022 over the remainder of term four, and after release of ATARs on December 16th.  Details on assistance available between December 16th and 20th will be provided to Year 12 students and families later this term. 

 

Year 12 students planning to study Technology degrees at RMIT University

 

The Westpac undergraduate scholarships are for students who wish to study technology related careers at one of five universities in Australia (including RMIT Victoria).  Recipients will receive $5000 per year for three years, mentorship and leadership training from Westpac.  They could also travel to Singapore (restrictions allowing).  For more information head to HERE
