This week is National Careers Week. We kicked off the week with our annual Careers Expo on Tuesday 11 May after school. The Expo is a great opportunity for students to engage with tertiary institutions to discuss opportunities and pathways available to them. The event was well attended by our students and it was lovely to see many girls from local Catholic girls schools take up our invitation to attend the Expo. We look forward to welcoming them back next year.
Special thanks to our local Defence, Police and Ambulance for attending and giving advice to our students on these pathways. It was also great to see some of our 2020 seniors return to University ambassador roles.
For those students who missed our Careers Expo, the Brisbane Careers & Employment Expo is on at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre this weekend. Entry is free.
