SUBJECT SELECTIONS FOR YEARS 9, 10, AND 11 2023

Students in Years 8, 9, and 10 have been notified of their 2023 subject selections via their Pastoral Mentors. If there are issues with the selection, students must see me by Tuesday, Week 8.

SENIOR EXAMS

Well done to all of our seniors who prepared well and invested their best efforts into what no doubt was a very long and anxious 17 days of external exams. Whilst we understand the significance of these exams and their results, this is the culmination of seven years of dedication to learning at the secondary school level. Results will be available from 9:00am Friday, 16th December, in student learning accounts via the QCAA Student Portal.

RECOGNISING OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT.

Our College presentation evening occurred on Tuesday 8th November. I was very proud of the many students who had their academic successes acknowledged on the evening. I particularly wanted to dedicate my article to the six students who achieved the “Outstanding Academic Achievement Award” for their year. This award, which includes a bursary of $150, is presented to the student who has achieved the highest results in their cohort. Essentially, the DUX of their year level. These students are the epitome of dedicated learners who are intent on reaching their full potential. Congratulations to our Outstanding Academic Achievers for 2023.

Top of Year 7 - Sian Stewart

Sian achieved an A for every subject she studied this year. That totalled 13 subjects by the presentation evening.
