Volleyball Beach Cup

On Sunday, 13 March the College had four volleyball teams participate in the VWA Beach Cup at City Beach. Our Year 11/12 Division A team came in second to Greenwood, with our Year 7/8 Division A team also finishing in second, closely behind Hale. These are outstanding results for the TC Volleyball Club!

Rowing Notice

Hello rowing families,

We have made it and performed exceptionally! Over the next week we would like to do an exit interview with the Year 12s set up to have a crack if you'd like through a club. We will have planning meetings with all other rowers to point out your wins and plan for the future.

This Saturday after the regatta we will be thanking the parents who have helped with everything this season at Champion Lakes around 11.15am. We will have photos for Year 8s, 9s, and 10s this Friday so bring your racing singlets and polos. Seniors happen later as it is a mixed year group.

We have an Old Boys All Star Race to finish the regatta and some of you may get a ride in that with 6 confirmed Aussie Reps making up the engine room! Lets finish with no fade, we will do a parade of honour with oars at the lake for the parents and we will sing the school song.

For the rowers, the wind up will be back at the shed from 1-2pm with BBQ food provided and 2 minutes from each stroke to thank coaches and award badges. We are unable to have parents at this event and hope to thank our wonderful helpers at the lake.

Congratulations to Year 12 students James Watson and Josh Strohmeier on making the Pathway State 8. Josh Hicks ('09) Jack Cleary ('12) Alex Rossi ('18) Andrew Le ('18) have all made the State Kings Cup with Rohan James ('18) making the Penrith 4 and Alex Baroni ('21) making the Youth 8. Jack Cleary will also race at the World Championships and Henley Regatta in the Open M2X with other teams yet to be selected.

Thank you for an amazing year.

Mr Phil Jurjevich
