Billy Murray Visit
On Thursday May 16th former student William Vyvyan Murray, known to past teachers as Billy, gave a stunning lunchtime performance on Viola., Since leaving PHSC Billy has studied music in Berlin, Paris, Switzerland and Amsterdam. Billy is an active chamber musician and continues to tour the world playing festivals, including, on this occasion the PHSC music department!, We were extremely lucky to have Billy come and perform for us and it was greatly received by students and teachers alike. One excited teacher claimed bragging rights about touching the hundreds year old viola!
