Year 8 Cross country ski camp

Three one week camps ran again this year.  The first week the snow was attainable after some hiking!  It made for tired year 8 students and for reduced on-snow experiences.  But learn they did and were rewarded with beautiful snow fall and memorable camp experiences.

As Winter finally set in weeks two and three of camp were treated to less rain and with snow right from the starting point.

Despite the frustration that often comes with learning a new and demanding skill participants persevered and were rewarded by reaching great heights on the mountains.  Students were incredibly supportive and proud of each other too.
