Reading workshops for parents

Boorowa Central School primary staff have a focus on reading this term. We are inviting parents to be involved in this focus by sharing the reading strategies that teachers use at school to develop reading skills.

These workshops are designed to help parents explore reading strategies that can support their child's reading process and help them develop a love for reading. 

During the workshops, parents can learn effective reading strategies, participate in interactive demonstrations, and engage in a Q & A session with teachers to gain insights into their child's reading development. 

The workshops are being held on multiple dates, including Monday 14 August, Monday 28 August and Monday 11 September 2023, with two one-hour sessions available on each day. 

Afternoon tea and light refreshments will be provided, and parents are asked to RSVP to confirm their attendance by Saturday 12 August 2023.
