Studio Arts Unit 2

Photo 1 Heidi McKenzie explored traditional and fantasy portraiture using collage, water colour and pencils.

Photo 2 Fiona Dipasupil's focus for her folio was the positives and negative effects of being an adolescence. Fiona used oil paints and mirror to create her folio pieces.

Photo 3 Francesca Lucot combined her love of music and the Visual Arts into one exploring fragmentation and deconstructivism. Mixed media and paper origami formed the basis of these innovative creations.

Photo 4 Ellie Moroney's fascination with history resulted in an exploration of family history. Part of an old peppercorn tree was used for final presentation.

Photo 5 Haylee Banfield combined the pressures of VCE studies and her love of botanical forms to create functional textile artworks. Haylee used the Arts Mi-screen to print the fabric pieces.

Francesca and Haylee's Unit 2 Studio Arts work will feature in Fresh GV Top Art & Design Sam Squared (Community Space) Exhibition during November of this year. This is the first exhibition in new SAM! It is a VCE exhibition for Year 10, 11 and 12 students of the wider area of GV. This will celebrate the students’ works in Unit 1 - 4, Art, Studio Arts and Visual Communication Design.
