Covid Update

In the last week we have had several students test positive to Covid-19. Thankfully most of these students have not been onsite during their infectious period. Due to only small numbers of staff and students being identified as primary close contacts (PCCs) school has been able to remain open with minimal impact on classes. Once the school is notified of a confirmed case contract tracing starts immediately and any PCCs are isolated and sent home. If you do not receive a phone call you have not been identified as a PCC. A letter was sent to families via email outlining the process to take if you are identified as a PCC. 

Key elements of the contract tracing is mask wearing and physical distancing. If students are not wearing a mask or if they are within 1.5m when they come in contact with a positive case they are highly likely to be identified as a PCC.
