SSV DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY 

In the last week of Term 1 we held our school Cross Country.  Students who qualified to represent St John the Apostle School at the SSV District Cross Country Thursday 11th May are: 

We wish them all the best at President’s Park on Thursday, 11th May as they compete against the other local schools.

SSV SPORTS DAY UPDATE

At the end of last term students in Year 5 & 6, competed in an interschool sports day.  The Tennis tournaments, Cricket Matches and Tee Ball games all took place at Galvin Park.  Basketball games were played at the Altona Meadows Stadium with the Volleyball competition being held at Tarneit Rise Primary School.  A big thank you to Mr Geisler for overseeing the organisation of the day for all the schools involved. Thank you also to the Teachers and support staff who accompanied the students to the various competitions.  Congratulations to the students who competed on the day, you were wonderful ambassadors for St John’s.

TAKE HOME READERS

Prep Take Home Readers

Take Home Readers for our Prep Students will commence by Week 3 of this term.  They will come home in a reader folder accompanied by a reading diary to be completed by families.
