Local Leader Grants 2019 Finalist

The SRC team has been busily working on several projects to positively impact our school community. Recently, we applied to the Leader Local Grant to create and build three Community Library Street Boxes. We were successful to be recognised in the top 3 proposals in the City of Whittlesea which saw an invitation to the breakfast at the Langham hotel.  Although our application was not successful in obtaining the grant, we would like to thank those of our community who voted for us.

The team is very proud of our application which you can see below. 

The SRC believes this is an important initiative they would like to see through so we will be focusing on raising funds to make our Community Street Boxes come to life... Stay Tuned!

The Great Book Swap!

Our next big event is being part of The Great Book Swap to raise much needed funds to The Indigenous Literacy Foundation. 

On the first week of September, stay tuned for more information on how you can donate your old books and help close the literacy gap for our Indigenous Australians.
