Christmas is coming,

https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/christmas

This year, as in previous years, we will have a Gift giving tree in our school foyer (local charity to be confirmed).

New or unused toys can be donated from December 1st.

When shopping, if you are able to purchase a small present, we would be so grateful.

Please do not wrap it - so the organisers can see who to gift it to.

Choir and Highland dancing events

Our choirs and Highland dancers are expected to be very busy before the end of term and have been asked to attend some local events.

If you would like your child to participate, or attend in support, the details are below.

Celtic Christmas will have all Highland dancing groups, with Junior and Senior choirs.

The performance will begin at 1 pm on Friday, November 25th. Due to rehearsals on this day, all students who are performing will have an amended lunchtime.

Maroondah Christmas Concert will be held on Saturday 3rd December. As this is not a school event, it is voluntary to attend, but we would love all of the Grade 5 & 6 Highland dance groups, with the Junior and Senior Choir members who are able to attend.

We would love families to support our choir if you were intending to attend as a family.

Performers will need to meet at 6.10pm near the stage. Their performance is from 6.25pm until 6.45 pm. This and further information will be shared with these groups by Mrs Sarah Butler.

Kalinda Carols Night

Our annual Kalinda Carols Night is being held on Thursday 8th December.

All Kalinda students will be performing in their class group, their chosen Christmas carol.

Carols will begin from 5pm.

Students will need to be supervised by parents if they are staying for Carols.

Both choirs will perform on the night, there will be no dancers at this event.

P&F has organised activities from 3 pm. We encourage all families to attend, and stay together.

Please note that this is an alcohol, and dog free event, to help keep our community safe.

Bring your picnic rugs and singing voices, hats and sunscreen for a wonderful family event.
