Seeking Confident Teenagers
At Macquarie University, we are conducting an exciting online study investigating body image in Australian adolescents. To help us do this, we need to learn from adolescents who are not anxious or concerned about their appearance.
We are seeking parents and their confident teenagers 12 to 17 years to participate in our online study. To thank you for your time and involvement in the study, you will receive a $30 gift voucher at the completion of your participation.

Health Nurse Vaccinations for 2022
The second vaccination for Year 7 students will be in Term 4, Week 4, 2 November.
Year 7 students will be offered their second dose of the human papillomavirus vaccine.
They will also be offered a catch up of the diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough vaccine, if they where away at the first immunisation date.
Using your SmartRider
For all students using a SmartRider, you will need to add value to your card in person at a Retail Sales Outlet or InfoCentre, use an Add-value machine at a station or on board a bus with cash.
You can also set up an Autoload direct debit on the Transperth website. To complete the Autoload activation, wait at least 24 hours and then tag on/off a service (you don’t need to travel at this time).
When you use your SmartRider, one of three lights will appear on the SmartRider machine:
• Green means GO
• Orange means WARNING and you are running low on value or you forgot to tag off on your last journey.
• Red means STOP so your balance is too low and you need to add value before travelling.
