Interschool Sport

Year 11/12 Sport

The start to Term 2 is traditionally the peak interschool sport period for the Year 11/12’s and this year was certainly no different! The sports on offer were; Football, Badminton, Netball, Table Tennis and Basketball. 

Interest was huge in each of the sports and the enthusiasm and commitment from the students was to be admired.

Congratulations to all teams, with plenty of success across the events.

The following teams won their events and have now qualified for the North Metro Region Finals:

• Y11/12 Boys Football
• Y11/12 Girls Netball
• Y11/12 Boys Basketball

Darebin Division Cross Country

The Cross Country event was held in sublime weather conditions at Bundoora Park on Monday May 15. 

Congratulations to our two students that placed in the top 3 in their events:

Fatima Kodsi (Y8) - 1st place in 14 girls age group

Amelie Robinson (Y7) - 2nd place in 13 girls age group

Well done also to Maryrose Ingham (Y7), Summer Vasic (Y7), Alasdair Leith (Y8) and Harry Brown (Y8) who all finished in the top 15 in their races and qualified for the North Metro Region Cross Country at Kilmore Racing Club on June 14.
