Trinity College Advisory Council Announcements

The College Advisory Council consists of community members willing to bring their interest, experience and respective skills to collectively assist the College and the Principal, in ensuring good governance processes and sound strategic planning for the future. The generosity of the Council members in serving the Trinity College community is certainly appreciated and much valued. Membership on the Council tends to change on an annual basis as people complete their respective tenures and late last year, the College sought applications from our community for positions on the Advisory Council.

The process for appointment has now been completed and formally ratified by Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA). On behalf of the Trinity College community, I wish to welcome Davide Bosio, Carolyn Perlini, Avril Thomson and Troy Zafer to the College Advisory Council and wish them all of God’s blessings in their roles.

I would also like to congratulate and thank Peter Torre (Chair of Council) and Cate Taylor Tobin (Deputy Chair) for generously taking on such important roles in leading the Council. I thank them for their ongoing support and encouragement and look forward to working with all Council members as we oversee the strategic direction of Trinity College.

Parent Pick-up and Child Safety

The start of the new school year has brought with it several traffic congestion issues, which pose an immediate danger to many of our Junior and Senior School students. In the interest of student safety, parents are asked to follow all road-safety rules and take the following into consideration during peak drop-off and pick-up times:

  • Please do not perform U-turns on Nelson Crescent
  • Please comply with all No Parking signs on Nelson Crescent
  • Please do not park in the Bus stand area on Nelson Crescent
  • Please do not double-park anywhere. The buses struggle to move on Nelson Crescent safely.
  • Please remind your sons to check for traffic and then cross carefully and safely.
  • If possible, try to stagger drop-off and pick-up times. After hours supervision is available in the Senior School Library.

We appreciate your patience and your support in ensuring the safety of our students.

Vice-Principal

TC Café Introduces Flexischools

We recently introduced the new online ordering/credit system Flexischools. This system replaced the previous My Student Account system. We apologise to any families who have experienced any issues with the new system.

Flexischools allows you to top up your TC Café balance and place orders (Junior School only) via a mobile app. You can download the Flexischools app from the App Store or Google Play to register and set up your account.

Please refer to the below image that refers to the number that should be placed in the "Student Card Number" field in Flexischools.  It is important this number is used to link the card to your son's account.

Important information

My Student Account is no longer operational. For your son to continue purchasing items from the TC Café using his student card/Smartrider, a Flexischools account must be created, linking your son's student card to the account. Please visit the TC Café page on our website for information on how to do this. The page also contains some troubleshooting FAQ's should you experience any difficulties.

School Fees

Your new format School Fee notification will be emailed to your billing address on Monday, 14th February.

If you do not receive your notification or are having problems accessing your statement, please contact fees@trinity.wa.edu.au or call accounts on 9219 1168.

Uniform Shop News - Online Orders Only

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Uniform Shop will only be accepting online orders for uniform items during Weeks 3 and 4 of Term 1.

Orders will be completed and available for pick up from Student Services or Junior School on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. We will update opening hours for the remainder of the term and booking arrangements for winter fittings in due course. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Expressions of Interest to join the TC Parent Council

The Trinity College Parent Council (TCPC) is calling for expressions of interest from current TC parents willing to be involved on the council, to fill one (1) vacant position.

Any parent who is interested is asked to submit brief (half page maximum) nomination, telling the TCPC a little bit about yourself, why you are interested in being involved, and any skills, talents or ideas you could bring to the TCPC.

The TCPC enables parents of current College students to engage in and support College activities with the view of enhancing the community experience at the College. They achieve this by providing support and advice to the College Leadership Team in relation to areas of parental support. Additionally, the TCPC, in collaboration with the College, helps manage social events for the College community, including the annual Parent Ball. More information on the roles and activities of parent groups at TC can be found here.

Please email your expression of interest to tcparentcouncil@gmail.com by 11.59pm, Friday 4 March. The TCPC hopes to welcome the new member at the next TCPC meeting on Tuesday 22 March.

Please note: expressions of interest will be kept on file for consideration later in the year, when the TCPC will be advertising other vacancies due to members reaching the end of their term. Interested parties will be contacted at the appropriate time.
