Senior Boys Soccer Eastern Regional Champions

On Wednesday 10th August, almost 100 DSC students represented the school at the Division Athletics Carnival. All students displayed outstanding determination and resilience throughout the day in their respective events. 

 

I am extremely proud to announce that Doncaster Secondary College came 2nd in the overall school competition. This is our best result at a Division Athletics Carnival for many years and all students should be proud of their efforts that contributed to this result. 

 

Overall School Results:

1st Place – Balwyn High School

2nd Place – Doncaster Secondary College

3rd Place – Camberwell High School

4th Place – Kew High School

5th Place – Canterbury Girls Secondary College 

 

I would also like to congratulate the following students who have progressed to the Eastern Regional Athletics Carnival in October for winning their individual event/s:

 

Evan S, 7G – Under 13 Boys 200m

Kate G, 7A – Under 13 Girls Long Jump

Alistair J, 7A – Under 13 Boys Shot Put

Tayla M, 8C – Under 14 Girls Shot Put

Mia D, 10F – Under 16 Girls 1500m

Kate M, 11C – Under 17 Girls 400m, High Jump and Javelin

Nicole P, 11I – Under 17 Girls Shot Put and Discus

Daniel C, 11B – Under 17 Boys Shot Put

Steve L, 12B – Under 20 Boys High Jump and Discus 

 

An extra special mention should also go to Harriet E. of 8C who was the Under 13 Girls Age Group Champion, which is awarded to the athlete in each age group that earned the most points for their school.
