Secondary

Campion Lap-a-Thon

Congratulations to the students of Campion House who participated in their annual Lap-A-Thon on Thursday, 16 March to raise money for Caritas Australia.

All Secondary Campion students were encouraged to run or walk as many laps of the football field as they could in 30 minutes, seeking sponsorship from family and friends for every lap they ran. When students participated in the Lap-A-Thon they were asked to think about those who are less fortunate then they are, helping to reinforce that Campion students are ‘men and women for others’.

Over the last two years, the Campion Lap-A-Thon has raised over $5000 for Catholic charities and this year we hope to achieve another generous total to donate to Project Compassion, Caritas Australia’s annual Lenten fundraising and awareness-raising appeal to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.

Thank you to our Campion families for your ongoing support and generosity for what is such a successful and meaningful event on the Campion calendar. Students can hand in their donations to their Homeroom teacher over the coming week.

We look forward to announcing our overall total raised!
