I am running some workshops for parents and educators as part of the Nature Festival (www.https://www.naturefestival.org.au/ ) and also have a couple of storytelling events for children.
The workshops I am running for parents are 2 hours and are looking at how to tell simple stories about and in nature. A great way to help parents have the confidence to start storytelling more with their children which of course brings many benefits. There are workshop locations in Port Elliot, CBD and Morialta.
The Masterclasses are 4 hours for educators and passionate parents and are also about oral storytelling in nature but go deeper into the practice and also go into using found objects in nature to make simple puppet stories. I will also look at how to promote and nourish creative play for children and how to bring ideas or concepts through story. There are Masterclass locations in McLaren Vale and Summertown.
These workshops would be wonderful for parents of playgroup, Kinder and early Primary children and for educators or playgroup leaders of children up to 7 years of age. All the events are here.
Please see all details below and reach out if you have any questions.
