Small Actions Make a Big Difference!

Did you hang an OGEA sign in your classroom window? 

Did you wear your OGEA t-shirt and post your picture on Facebook? 

The Executive Team at the District Office noticed these organizing efforts! 

While negotiations could have continued for several more weeks, a fair tentative agreement was reached not long after our signs were posted. Our Bargaining Team represents all of us. If the Executive Team doesn't feel the general membership backs up our Bargaining Team, they feel no pressure to settle. Any wage increases or class-size reductions that we've gotten over the years were not handed over to us freely. While the Bargaining Team does the gritty work, it is up to ALL of us to be unified and make change. #OGEAstrong
