Buddies Teddy Bear Sleepover

On Friday the 17th of June, the Foundation and Year 6 Buddies had a Teddy Bear Sleepover. All of the Foundation students and Year 6s arrived at 5.30pm in their pyjamas and free-dress clothes for the sleepover.

First, we all said "hi" to our Buddies and had a look around at what the teachers had set up for the night - there were twinkle lights and balloons decorating the Foundation room. After we had a look around, we all got settled and ready to watch "Toy Story". We watched "Toy Story" until Mrs Hartley came with the pizzas. We paused the movie and ate the yummy pizza with the Buddies. After we finished our dinner, we turned "Toy Story" back on and watched for a while - the Buddies loved it!

Mrs Hartley got some ice cream and we put sprinkles on it and enjoyed them. After our ice cream, we put our teddy bears in the beds we created and read them a story as the parents arrived. We all went home and waited for Monday!

On Monday the 20th of June, we all arrived at school normally and the Year 6s and Foundation students entered the prep building to see what happened…the bears had gone crazy! They were eating pizza and chips, hanging off ropes and playing in the reading pit. After we all looked around and found our teddy bears, the Foundation students and the Year 6s all worked together to clean the room from all the mess that the bears made. It was awesome!
