Cecilia A. - 00L

This award goes to Cecilia for her incredible effort practising and learning her letters and sounds. She has demonstrated the HEART value of Excellence and Trust. Cecilia always approaches her learning with a positive attitude and lots of enthusiasm. You are a Scoresby Superstar Cecilia!

Ava C.- 1/2D

Ava is receiving this award as she has stepped right out of her comfort zone by independently sharing her ideas during class discussions. Her courage to do this has allowed her peers and teacher to hear many of her wonderful thoughts and get to know her at a deeper level. Ava, we wish you all the best and safe travels on your exciting caravanning adventure in Term 3. We will miss you, but look forward to catching up over Webex to hear all about it!

Taoipu A. - 1/2G

This award goes to Taoipu for his amazing efforts through out term 2. He is a quiet achiever who always strives to do his best in all areas of the curriculum. I have loved watching him grow and become a great role model for 1/2G. Keep up the great work Taoipu!

Kanish M. - 1/2K

This award goes to Kanish for the way in which she has re-entered the classroom after her extended holiday. She is on time every morning and has adapted to the new routine. We have missed your happy face Kanish and are so glad you are back as part of our 1/2K family. 

Edgar K. - 3/4B

This award goes to Edgar for his outstanding work in maths. He works hard in all of our lessons and shows the qualities of a great mathematician. Edgar has worked hard this week to build on his problem solving strategies. He has been working on solving problems using ‘Work Backwards’ and ‘Make an organised list’. Keep up the wonderful work Edgar!

Jaxx W. - 3/4S

This award is presented to Jaxx for the amazing improvement he has made this year in his attitude towards school. Jaxx has developed many strategies to help him throughout the day and enjoys working with others and completing his work. It is lovely to see your happy, smiling face when you arrive at school each day.

Jane B. - 5/6M

This award is presented to Jane for the amazing way she has settled into 5/6M. Jane has calmly adjusted not only to a new class and school but also a new Country, which is extremely impressive! Jane is a happy, funny and confident student who is well liked by her peers and always has a smile on her face. Keep up all the wonderful things you are doing Jane and I am sure it won’t be long before we are having a conversation in English.

Mia A. - 5/6W

This award goes to Mia for her persistent attitude that she has displayed towards our multiplication and division unit in PONT maths. Over the past 2 weeks, Mia has shown that she can learn new skills and apply these in a variety of situations. Wonderful effort Mia! I am very proud of your efforts!

Maverick M. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Maverick for his brilliant relief artwork. Students in 5/6 created their designs using 3 different origami folds. Maverick’s precise folding and accurate placement of each piece resulted in perfect radial symmetry. Fabulous work and attention to detail Maverick!

Ajay J. - Physical Education

This award goes to Ajay for showing the HEART value of Excellence during PE this week. Ajay tried his best when completing the Beep Test and achieved a high score. He also displayed Excellence when participating in the soccer activities. Keep up the great work Ajay!

Nick K. - Mandarin

This award acknowledges Nick for his enthusiasm in Mandarin class. We were learning about introducing ourselves and Nick made up a chant to help him learn the words  to introduce himself. Love the creative energy, Nick!

Jane B. - Performing Arts

This award goes to Jane for learning her music and dancing parts very quickly. Well done Jane. It’s great to have you in Performing Arts lessons.
