CHINESE CULTURAL DAY 2022

Today's inaugral Scoresby Primary School Chinese Cultural Day was a huge success!  Many thanks to Mr Hung and Mrs Coster for planning and organising the day.

Every student and staff member was involved in a rotation of various Chinese culturally-themed activities across the day including willow-pattern plate painting, traditional Chinese games and sports, tangrams, Chinese music making, using chopsticks and traditional dragon dancing.

Students and staff were encouraged to wear red, a popular colour in Chinese culture, symbolisingluck, joy, and happiness.  This added to the fun festive feel of the day.

The day concluded with a whole-school assembly and demonstration of dragon dancing.
