John XXIII Netball Club

We are up and running and looking forward to another fantastic netball season.

Primary School

Registration is open until 24 February. Please register early, there are limited places available and registration will close early when a year group is full.

We are currently seeking a parent to join the committee as a Primary School Netball Representative with Aizhan Greenwood. Please email us if you would like more information johnxxiiicnc@gmail.com or email Aizhan  aizhans13@icloud.com

We are taking expressions of interest for coaches positions for 2023.

Please let me know if you are interested in coaching your child’s team.

Secondary School

Grading begins this weekend for Years 7 – 10

Years 11 and 12  will begin grading next weekend.

Grading is on the John XXIII College netball courts next to the Year 7 / E block

• Please arrive 5 minutes early to be checked in.
• Wear your College sports uniform.
• Remove all jewellery
• Nails should be short and smooth
• Bring a water bottle

Pre-season fitness

It was great to see so many girls at fitness last Wednesday. Fitness training is optional. There is no registration, just show up and sign in on the day.

Fitness is held on the oval under the netball courts from 7:00am – 8:00am Wednesdays and Fridays

• 15 & 17 February
• 22 & 24 February
• 1 & 3 March
• 8 & 10 March

Training

Training is at John XXIII College on the courts next to E block (Year 7).

Training is compulsory, times are:

• Years 6, 7, 8 & 9       Thursdays 3.30pm – 5.00pm
• Years 10, 11 & 12     Tuesdays 3.30pm – 5.00pm
• Primary training will be advised by the coach.
