Parent Information Evening, Thursday 23 February

The College welcomes all families to attend the upcoming Parent Information Evening on Thursday 23 February. Conducted in a different format to previous years, the evening will start at 5:15pm for a meet and greet with Homeroom Teachers followed by a selection of information sessions and guest speakers that parents will be able to book individually based on their interests and what is age appropriate for their child. Whilst this is predominantly a Years 8 to 12 evening, as ADPs will be presenting information relevant to their year group, Year 7 parents are welcome and will find additional sessions relevant. Please place this date in your calendar; information regarding the evening and how to book sessions will be released in the coming weeks.

2023 Year 12 College Ball - Under a Starry Night

The much anticipated 2023 Year 12 College Ball was enjoyed on Friday 3 February at The Hyatt Regency Hotel. The students and guests arrived looking absolutely fantastic; the sea of colours and variety of dresses and suits added to the vibrancy of the night. At 7:30pm the doors to the Grand Ballroom opened, revealing a true Under a Starry Night scene. Students entered ready for a great night of fun and dancing which was only interrupted by a sit down three course dinner and some photographic opportunities.

The Ball is one of those special landmarks which highlights the students' growth and reminds us that the journey within the school context is coming to a close. The experience of 'having a ball' together is something that we hope students and teachers remember forever.

Congratulations

Congratulations to  Waverley Allen, Year 10 , who recently competed in the 2023 WA Junior Surfing Titles at Yallingup presented by Think Mental Health.

The event sees young surfers aged between 9 and 17 years converge from all corners of Western Australia for the first of three events which determine who will represent WA at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles to be held in Victoria later this year.

Waverley, a member of Trigg Junior Board Riders, got through to the Semi-finals, which is a fantastic result.
