Year 6 Summer Sports

This year our Year 6 students competed in the WESA Summer Round Robin competition, played over 2 full days, Friday February 24th & Friday March 24th.

Our Hot Shots Tennis team walked down to the Whites Lane Tennis Club to play tennis, our Basketball team travelled to the Knox Basketball Stadium, and our Cricket, Tee ball, Kickball & Volley Stars teams all played at the Jells Park Sport Centre.

Wheelers Hill PS competed against other schools in our WESA district- Camelot Rise, Weeden Heights, Albany Rise, Holy Saviour, Mount Waverley Nth, St Scholastica, Glen Waverley South & Jells Park Primary Schools.

Students enjoyed the opportunity to develop their physical skills in many different fields, whilst making new friends and competing in a friendly and very successful tournament.

Parents need to note that this format was a trial for Term 1. Year 6 students will be competing in weekly competition games each Friday during Term 2, starting week 1.

Games will be played from 12pm - 1.00 pm each week. Refer to the Compass event for further fixture details.
