School Community Liaison Officer 

For the past two weeks during parent group, our parents have been learning how to sew. In the first half session of we learnt how to navigate the machine and practiced on practice sheet how to sew straight, round, and zigzag. Second half of session we learnt how to sew an oven mitt.  

In the second week we learnt how to sew hair scrunchies and a simple bag. Some parents brought in their torn clothes and used the session to mend their clothes. 

The sewing class will continue in term two from week 3 every Monday at 9am.
